About the artist: Chad BlAnkenSHIP
Hello and welcome! I’m Chad Blankenship, the creator of Aships Arts. Originally from Indiana, I’ve now made my home in Orange County, California. Blending small town and big city with beach life and vibrant local cultures to inspire much of my work.
I’ve been exploring art in many forms for over 25 years, working across traditional and digital mediums. My creativity isn’t limited to graphics and illustration—I’ve spent years woodworking, crafting unique pieces, and experimenting with a variety of hands-on and modern techniques. This wide-ranging experience informs everything I create, whether it’s fine art, graphic design, or custom prints.
Music has always been a parallel passion. Blues Drift is my outlet for authentic, imaginative blues and jazz—sometimes performed solo, sometimes with guest musicians I call “Drifters.” Each performance balances improvisation and structure, offering something unique for every audience.
Through Aships Arts, I aim to blend skill, creativity, and soul in everything I do. From custom art and graphic design projects to tangible products like my Print Pack™, my goal is to create experiences and works that connect with people, spark imagination, and bring joy—whether visually, musically, or both.
